Modern education and problems of today’s students

Education is an effort of the senior people to transfer their knowledge to the younger members of society. It is thus an institution, which plays a vital role in integrating an individual With his Society and in maintaining the perpetuation of culture Emile Durkheim defines education as “the influence exercised by the adult generation upon those who are not yet ready for adult life.

Modern education is exoteric, open and liberal. The world-view is scientific-rational; the theme consists of freedom, equality, humanism and denial of faith in dogma and superstitions. The course contents are rationalistic and in tune with the needs of the present-day society

Today’s education has became costly. Generally, parent’s can not teach their children to a better school. Today’s education has become just examanal. The students spend thier whole time in mug up lessons. So they don’t have time for other activities. As a result, their development stops.

Financial problems :
The very first and major problem that students face is the financial problem. Student life is consider as poor life because in this life they have to rely on their parents hasn’t any direct source of Money. Moreover our country is one of the poor countries of the world and our government spends low on education system which results in costly education. Mostly students skip their studies because they don’t pay their dues on regular basis. Students have to pay heavy fee as well as have to purchase new uniforms and books which are not easy for a student to purchase buy themselves. Moreover in Pakistan only few public schools are present but the private institutes are more in number. These private schools charge few heavy from students which result in child labor.

Transportation :
Mostly students travel from rural areas to urban areas. They have to pay transportation rent on regular basis. This is the biggest problem faced by student in getting education.

When a student pass his exam especially matric exam he/ she become confused about choosing of their further subjects. It is very difficult for the students to choose subjects and carrier according to their interest and desire. Mostly students choose their subjects because their parents or their relatives selects those subjects for them. Most students don’t take interest in the studies dur to not their desired fields and education.

Language :
Mostly students came from there state or country language medium but after matriculation books change into english. Mostly students cannot understands what is written in their books.

Parent’s should have to take advice from good teachers. Also information about the vocational education system should be Shown to the student.
If this way no action will be taken then students will be gone in a wrong way. In the life of terrorists students frustration, poverty and lack of proper education will be seen.
